Who is responsible for your data

AEROCLICK TRAVELS PRIVATE LIMITED, trading as Aeroclick Travels, decides how and why the personal data described here is processed. In the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, we act as the data fiduciary for this data.

What we collect

We collect only what a flight booking or related request needs:

• Traveller details: full name as on ID, date of birth, gender where an airline requires it, nationality, and passport details for international travel.
• Contact details: email address, phone number and, where needed, a postal address.
• Booking details: routes, dates, booking references, seat and meal requests, and correspondence with you.
• Assistance needs: information about mobility or medical assistance, only when you choose to share it so we can request help from an airline.
• Payment records: the amount, date and status of payments. Card details are entered on the secure page of a licensed third-party payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Technical data: device and browser information, IP address and pages visited, as described in our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it

We use personal data to:

• prepare quotes and make, change or cancel bookings you have asked for;
• pass required details to airlines and other suppliers so they can issue tickets and provide services;
• contact you about your request, including confirmations and changes to your flights;
• take payment and process refunds;
• meet legal, tax and accounting obligations; and
• keep the website working and secure.

We process this data on the basis of your consent given when you submit a request, and for other lawful purposes permitted by applicable law. We do not use your data for marketing unless you have separately agreed to it.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed to deliver what you asked for:

• Airlines, which require passenger details to issue and manage tickets.
• Booking systems and suppliers used to search, reserve and ticket flights, which handle booking data on our instructions.
• Payment providers that process your payments and refunds.
• Technology providers that host our website, email and records, under contractual confidentiality.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data. Airlines and other suppliers handle your data under their own privacy policies once they receive it.

International transfers

For international flights, your details must be sent to airlines and, through them, to authorities in the countries you travel to or through. Some of our technology providers may also store data outside India. We transfer data only as needed for your booking and in line with applicable law.

How long we keep it

We keep booking, payment and enquiry records for as long as needed to manage your trip, deal with any refund or complaint, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

How we protect it

Access to booking records is limited to staff who need it. Our website uses encrypted connections. We ask you never to send card numbers or passwords by email, chat or phone, and our agents will never ask for them that way. If you think your booking details have been exposed, tell us at contact@aeroclicktravels.online straight away.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask to access the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, have it erased where we no longer need it, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to. You can also raise a grievance with us.

Use our Data Rights Request page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational for such matters.

Children

We book flights for children only at the request of a parent or guardian, who provides the child's details. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.

We will update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
